Battle for America

With the presidential elections looming, all eyes are on America for one of the most exciting campaigns in recent memory. Will Americans elect their first ever black president, and what would it signify? Do Obama and McCain represent radically different visions of America’s future, and if so what are they? Many observers look forward to the USA renegotiating its place in the world following the unpopular tenure of George W Bush. What kind of foreign policy can we expect from the respective candidates? And with the nation’s demography rapidly changing, what does it mean to be American anyway?
