Lawyer turned journalist , Marcel Berlins has written countless articles and commentaries for a wide range of newspapers, magazines and journals, many on law and justice, but also on a large variety of other subjects. He has been a regular columnist on the Guardian for more than 20 years, and The Times’s reviewer of crime fiction for nearly 30. Frequent appearances on television and radio include 16 years as writer and presenter of BBC Radio 4’s Law in Action; he is a regular panellist on Radio 4’s Round Britain Quiz. His teaching activities include visiting professorships in media law at both City University and Queen Mary’s College. He is the author or co-author of four books on legal and criminal justice issues. |
