Sally Millard

Sally Millard is a long-standing member of the Battle of Ideas organising committee and co-founder of the IoI Parents forum. The Parents forum was set up in 2006 to provide a meeting place for those who want to make sense of why parenting is such a focus for policy makers. It is as necessary now as it was when we set it up ten years ago. With concerns ranging from what we feed our children, how many books we read to them to how we talk to them, it seems that bringing up kids is neither a straight forward task, nor a private matter. The Parents Forum has been a great place to discuss these developments on our facebook page and in regular meetings, so that we can work out how to challenge them.

Sally works as a financial controller and the mother of two lovely children.

CAM: Junk Science or Genuine Alternative?

"The arts and humanities need to be defended and we must fight for the freedom to extend barriers, not merely to work within them. What better arena than The Battle of Ideas?"
