Jeremy has made a lifelong career directing and producing popular science documentary programmes for the BBC and, later, as a freelance, for Channel 4, National Geographic and Discovery Channel. Several of his films have been about, or have been informed by, evolutionary theory, including two films with Richard Dawkins; Nice Guys Finish First and The Blind Watchmaker. Others in this genre include Playing With Madness and Dangerous Reunions for the BBC, and Women: The Inside Story, and Mindreaders for Channel 4. He has won a number of top industry awards including Best Science Film at the Royal Society’s Scitech International Film Festival in 1987. Not A Chimp is his first book. |
