Rebecca Jenkins

Rebecca Jenkins began her working life in charge of media relations for Durham Diocese during the 1984/5 Miners’ Strike and the turbulent Thatcher Years. As the writing partner of Bishop David Jenkins (Bishop of Durham 1984-94) she cut her writing teeth on a range of book, newspaper, television and radio projects.  She has published non fiction books on 19th C British theatre & the first London Olympics of 1908 and is author of a handful of murder mystery novels.  She has served as a Royal Literary Fund Fellow and is presently working on a book challenging current perceptions of Alzheimer’s and the care of the elderly.  She lives in Teesdale in County Durham.  On twitter @rjenkinsauthor.
