Steve Bloomfield

Steve Bloomfield is the author of Africa United, a wide-ranging and incisive look at the role football has played in shaping the African subcontinent. Now the foreign editor of Monocle, he previously spent four years based in Nairobi, reporting from more than 25 countries across Africa.
A former Africa correspondent for The Independent he has also written for a number of other publications including Newsweek, GQ and Esquire.
