Professor Virginia Berridge

Virginia Berridge is an historian whose interests span opium in the nineteenth century, the temperance movement, post-war smoking policy and the recent history of public health. She has published widely on these subjects and also on the relationship between evidence (including history) and policy. She is a partner in History and Policy.
