Klara Skrivankova

Klara Skrivankova has been working in Anti-Slavery International as the Trafficking Programme Coordinator since 2005. She is responsible for conducting research and advocacy activities focusing on elimination of trafficking in human beings in all its forms. Recently, her work has mainly encompassed trafficking for forced labour and access to justice for trafficked persons. In 2007, she founded together with two barristers the Trafficking Law and Policy Forum in the UK. Since 2008, she has been a member of the EU Experts Group on Trafficking and in 2009 she was appointed to the Board of Trustees of the UN Voluntary Trust Fund on Contemporary Forms of Slavery.

Before joining Anti-Slavery International, Ms Skrivankova worked for several years in La Strada Czech Republic, a member organization of a leading European anti-trafficking network.
She received a BA in Humanities and MA in public and social policy from the Charles University in Prague, Czech Republic.
