Royal College of Art
Battle of Ideas headline partner

The Royal College of Art is delighted to host the Battle of Ideas for the fifth year running. We’re great believers in the Battle of Ideas format - face to face and in your face. This year’s action-packed programme puts the behaviour of politicians, bankers, educators, scientists, eco-warriors and consumers under the spotlight. In a sense, as the world’s only postgraduate university of art and design, the Royal College of Art hosts its very own battle of ideas every day of the academic year as our student body from over 40 countries interacts with an outstanding line up of artists and designers on the Faculty. The College is all about debate, new ideas and interdisciplinarity. What better place than the RCA to host the Battle of Ideas?

"I travel far to participate in the BOI; it’s a unique festival of free speech and debate that consistently combines energy, fearlessness and provocation with thoughtful, informed consideration of contemporary politics and culture."
Wendy Kaminer, US-based writer on law, liberty, feminism, religion, and popular culture
