Rowenna Davis

Rowenna Davis is Labour’s prospective parliamentary candidate for Southampton Itchen.

Rowenna continues to work as a journalist specialising in political and social affairs for the New Statesman inbetween campaigning.  A regular commentator for Sky News, BBC TV and radio, she is also the author of the book on Blue Labour, Tangled Up in Blue. She has also been published in the Financial Times, the Independent, the Economist and the Times.

Rowenna has a keen interest in community organising, working with the youth charities Headliners and Envision, volunteering for Crisis and serving as a trustee for Blackfriars Settlement, she was elected as a councillor in 2011.
