Jamie Bartlett

Jamie is the director of the Centre for the Analysis of Social Media at the think-tank Demos, which is a collaboration between social and computer scientists. Jamie’s work focuses on how social media is changing social and political movements. Over the past 18 months, he has led a team of researchers collecting data on Facebook supporters of radical political movements.

He is also the author of The Dark Net, a best-selling book about internet subcultures. He has written for several major outlets including the New York Times, The Times, The Guardian, Foreign Policy, the Telegraph and Prospect.
