Kate Bull

Kate Bull is a former senior executive at UK retail giant, Marks & Spencer. She is founder and CEO of the People’s Supermarket- The Supermarket sets out to use the standard business model of a convenience supermarket and twist it, to construct a social enterprise that is commercially sustainable to enable it to be socially and environmentally sustainable. It s the start of something significant: a movement that enables people to help create a credible alternative to the dominant commercial structures involved with our food production, manufacture and supply.

Kate is skilled exponent of “distributive social technology”  , which she believes can overcome traditional challenges and barriers, particularly if you face them with a positive , future looking attitude.

Kate is also the Director of Ctwb Ltd Retail Consultancy, specialising in maximising commercial potential in retail environments. She has worked with a wide variety of clients from High Street multiples, independents and third sector, through to publicly funded museums and art centres. You will see her work in places such as the Westfield Shopping Centre, the South Bank and Manchester Museum of Science and Industry.
