Dr Abul Kalam Azad

Abul Kalam Azad was originally a language teacher and researcher with professional qualifications in this field. he is particularly interested in curriculum development and had an opportunity to work for British Council in developing resources for Islamic Education in Afghanistan.

Abul is also an IGCSE examiner with Cambridge and GCSE Team Leader examiner for Religious Studies with Edexcel and was a member of Programme Validation Team for Open University (UK). He is a visiting tutor for PGCE students at Goldsmiths, University of London.
Apart from professional activities, Abul takes interest in charity work in developing countries to improve quality education - providing financial support to poor students and their families, educational resources and teachers’ training.

Abul also has had long experience in religious education in both academic and public domains and is a regular contributor on Channel S TV.
