Ira Papadopoulou

Ira – Iliana Papadopoulou is the Director of Cultural Affairs at the Hellenic American Union, a public-service cultural and educational institution based in Athens, Greece.  Since 2004 she has been responsible for designing, planning and implementing the annual cultural program of the HAU as well as for planning media campaigns for all cultural events. Up to this day, she has produced more than 1.000 events. Insights from this extensive experience are shared in her seminar courses in Event and Media Management for NGOs’ executives.

Ira holds a BA in Sociology from Goldsmiths, University of London, and has been awarded a Master’s degree with Distinction in Communications Policy Studies from City University, London. She also studied Arts Management at Birkbeck, University of London and since 2010, she is an International Fellow of the DeVos Institute of Arts Management at the Kennedy Center in Washington, DC.
