Dr Marcus Fedder

Marcus is co-founder and Managing Partner of Agora Microfinance Partners.  He is a banker with 22 years of experience and has been involved with microfinance for the last two and a half years.  He previously held senior positions at several institutions including The Toronto Dominion Bank, the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), the World Bank and the Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce (CIBC).  At The Toronto Dominion Bank, he was responsible for all of TD Securities’ businesses in Europe and Asia-Pacific. 

Prior to TD he worked as Treasurer of EBRD.  At the World Bank, he advised Governments and Central Banks on debt management and asset & liability management.  At CIBC, he was an Executive Director, responsible for derivatives in London.  Prior to that he worked in capital markets at Deutsche Bank, where he started his career.  Marcus holds a PhD in Politics from Freie Universitaet Berlin and post graduate degrees in International Relations from LSE and Cambridge.
