Rosemary Thomas

Rosemary Thomas joined The Work Foundation in 2011 conducting research on health and wellbeing at work. She began her career working on a Health and Safety Executive funded project evaluating Occupational Health advice in a primary care setting.

Prior to joining The Work Foundation she worked in job retention and vocational rehabilitation as a Higher Work Psychologist for Jobcentre Plus. As an internal consultant at Jobcentre Plus she also delivered coaching and management interventions in leadership, team development and culture change. More recently she has worked as an Employment Specialist in the not for profit sector supporting clients with mental health problems to return to work in partnership with the Improving Access to Psychological Therapies initiative.

Rosemary has a BA (Hons) in Psychology from the University of Durham and a Masters in Occupational Psychology from the Institute of Work Psychology at The University of Sheffield. She is currently working towards Chartership as an Occupational Psychologist.
