Fiona Shaw has directed Henze’s Elegy for Young Lovers and Vaughan Williams’ Riders to the Sea for ENO, Widowers House for the National Theatre, and Hamlet for the Abbey Theatre, Dublin. Her stage credits as an actress include John Gabriel Borkman (Abbey / BAM), London Assurance, Mother Courage and Her Children, (National Theatre) Happy Days (National Theatre, Epidavros, Paris, BAM, Abbey Theatre, Dublin), Julius Caesar (Barbican), Medea (Queens Theatre, London, Abbey Theater, BAM) (Evening Standard Awards 2001 – Best Actress, Tony Awards 2003, nominee, Best Actress), The Waste Land. For the RSC her credits include The Merchant of Venice, Mephisto, Philistines, Les Liaisons Dangereuses, Much Ado about Nothing and As you Like It. Fiona Shaw’s film credits include: The Tree of Life, The Black Dahlia, Close your Eyes, Fracture, Harry Potter (all series), 3 Men and a Little Lady and The Last September.
