The British Humanist Association acts on the basis of progressive and Enlightenment values, believing that we best make sense of the world using reason, experience and shared human values. We promote Humanism, campaign for an open society and a secular state, and work with others of different beliefs for the common good. We usually feel at home with the Academy of Ideas!
