Anna Percy

Anna Percy has been writing for performance and publication around the country for eight years. In 2007 she graduated from Cumbria institute of the Arts with a BA in Creative Writing and Contemporary Culture and in 2009 earned a Creative Writing MA from University of Manchester. She is the author of two chapbooks. She is currently one half of the Stirred Feminist Poetry collective, they run live poetry events, writing workshops, work in conjunction with various arts festivals including: Not Part Of, Bad Shoes, Chorlton Arts Festival, and are putting out an anthology of modern feminist poetry later this year. She has worked with feminist poets’ collective Rift Cuts and is published in various magazines, ebooks and chapbooks. Her work focuses on love, loss, losing your mind, the pastoral and the surreal.
