Rafe Heydel-Mankoo is one of North America’s leading royal commentators. He appears regularly in the international TV, radio and print media (including BBC, Sky, Fox, ABC, CNN and CTV Canada) to provide expert analysis and commentary on the Monarchy and related subjects. He has covered all the major royal events of the last 15 years, most recently the wedding of The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and The Queen’s Diamond Jubilee, and he has lectured on the Monarchy in the UK, USA and Canada. Rafe is the co-editor of the critically acclaimed Burke’s World Orders of Knighthood & Merit, a two volume publication found in embassies, royal households and presidential offices around the world, and he has advised various governments on honours policy matters. He is a Trustee of the Canadian Royal Heritage Trust and a Research Associate at the UK public policy think tank, ResPublica. Born in the UK and educated (history and law) in Canada, Rafe was awarded The Queen’s Golden (2002) and Diamond (2012) Jubilee Medals (Canada) for his long-standing media commentary and his “contribution to monarchical studies”. He now lives in London. |
