Imran has led CaSE since May 2010, overseeing the organisation’s work in fighting for investment in research, better science education, and more rigorous science advice in government. He graduated from Oxford with a degree in Biology, before being Vice President of his Student Union and then studying Science Communication at Imperial College. He has written for the Guardian, the BBC, the World Health Organisation, and worked as a political researcher in the House of Commons. During his time at CaSE he has been named one of the 10 most influential figures in UK science under the age of 40, and is a member of the Science Board of the Institute of Physics. |
