Ben Phillips

Ben Phillips is Campaigns and Policy Director at Oxfam GB.

He was previously Save the Children’s Campaign Mobilisation Director, leading advocacy and popular engagement across a hundred countries to press governments and corporations to take action to enable all children to survive and thrive, and was also Strategy and Programmes Director in Asia, overseeing emergency and development operations reaching over four million children.

He also worked for Oxfam from 2002 to 2009, in Oxford and Washington DC, and three years in India.  Ben began his development career as a teacher and ANC activist in Mamelodi township, South Africa, and has lived and worked in four continents and ten cities.
