Francis Beckett

Francis Beckett’s 17 books include a major biography of Clement Attlee, a critical biography of Tony Blair, and short lives of Gordon Brown and Harold Macmillan.  He edited a series of short lives for Haus Publishing, The 20 Prime Ministers of the Twentieth Century.  He is editor of Third Age Matters, the national magazine published by the University of the Third Age.
