John is Chief Economist in the UK firm of PwC and editor of its Economic Outlook and World in 2050 series of reports. He has written on a wide variety of macroeconomic and public policy issues, including long term global growth prospects, fiscal policy, housing and pensions. He is a frequent media commentator and has carried out a wide range of economic consultancy projects in the UK and overseas during the past 25 years.
