Dimitrios Kiousopoulos is columnist at the Eleftherotypia, a Greek national newspaper. He writes mainly opera and classical music concert reviews for the EPTA magazine of the Sunday edition, but occasionally covers also other national and international events of cultural and academic interest. Dimitrios is a native of Athens. He read history, archeology, and classics at the University of Athens, the University of Edinburgh, the École des Hautes Études en Sciences Sociales (Paris), the Freie Universität Berlin and the European University Institute (Florence). His focus is on the history of opera in the 19th century. |
