Jo runs Future Academies which has Pimlico Academy at its heart, and is driven by a knowledge-led curriculum. Jo set up the trust’s teacher training SCITT and was founding director of its curriculum centre. Jo has advised the present and previous governments on the reform of the national curriculum. Originally an art historian, Jo was a fellow of The Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York, and has taught at universities including Cambridge and Kent.
