Helen is a barrister who specialises in constitutional and human rights law. She has appeared in the Supreme Court, European Court of Human Rights and the Court of Justice of the EU and given evidence to Parliament on constitutional issues. In recent times she has been active in campaigns to preserve access to justice, and to enable individuals and civil society organisations to participate in open democratic debate. Helen writes and broadcasts on legal issues. She is a trustee of the Equal Rights Trust, and of Birthrights. |
