![]() | Merijn Oudenampsen (1979, Amsterdam) is a sociologist and political scientist. He is affiliated to Tilburg University, doing a PhD research project on the intellectual history of the Dutch New Right. He was guest editor of the 20th edition of the art journal Open, titled the Populist Imagination (NAi 2010). He edited the volume titled Power to the People, een anatomie van het populisme (Boom | Lemma 2012). He writes regularly for newspapers, journals and magazines such as De Groene Amsterdammer, De Gids, Metropolis M and NRC Next, on topics ranging from political theory to urban development, from art criticism to irony, from utopia to the present dismal state of Western democracy. |
