Samantha Cohen

Samantha is a very experienced advocate with substantial experience in questioning vulnerable witnesses; e.g. children and those with learning disabilities and behavioural difficulties.

She prosecutes and defends in cases involving allegations of Sexual Assaults of the most serious kind.  She has been interested in cases involving allegations of Sexual Abuse since she started practice almost 20 years ago and was a member of the Bar Council consultation group created as a response to the proposed Sexual Offences Act 2003. 

She also lectures (the CPS amongst others) on the impact of Social Media in criminal cases and has contributed to new guidance issued to prosecutors on this topic.
