Jenny Wedgbury

Jenny Wedgbury is currently Acting Programme Manager for Families in the Schools, Families and Young People’s team at the V&A. She manages a team which delivers a daily, weekend and holiday programme of activities and resources for families at the Museum.

Jenny’s background is in Art History and Cultural studies. She received a first class honours in Combined Arts at Newcastle University and then went on to complete a Masters in Museums and Galleries in Education at the Institute of Education, whilst working as a Research Assistant there.

After this she went to work as Education Officer for the architectural education charity London Open House for two years. From there, Jenny moved to Historic Royal Palaces lead the Kensington Palace learning programme for schools, families and adults.

Jenny is one of the London co-convenors for the Group for Education in Museums and has acted as National Correspondent for the UK for the ICOM Committee for Education and Cultural Action.
