From a young age Verity has led an extremely diverse musical life. Studying at the Purcell School of Music she performed as a soloist at St. Martins-in-the-fields, opened Bath International Music Festival and performed on numerous occasions at the Wigmore Hall.
As well as her trumpet studies Verity developed a huge interest in outreach work which continued through to her studies at the Guildhall School of Music & Drama (BMus with honours 2014). This includes six years experience with the award winning outreach group ‘Impulse’ working alongside Alison Cox OBE, touring schools all over the UK, Mencap and LPO & LSO educational discovery projects. Verity has a particular passion for contemporary music, recently playing principal in Messiaen’s ‘Et Exspecto resurrectionem mortuorum’ and Andriessens’s ‘De Staat’ as part of The Rest is Noise festival at the South Bank Centre
