David Chandler is Professor of International Relations and Director of the Centre for the Study of Democracy, University of Westminster. He edits the journal Resilience: International Policies, Practices and Discourses. His most recent books are Resilience: the Governance of Complexity (Routledge, 2014) and Freedom vs Necessity in International Relations (Zed Books, 2013).
