John David Blake

John David Blake has taught History and Politics in diverse schools in Newham, Camden and Essex and he is currently a leading history practitioner at the Harris Federation.

John read Modern History at the University of Oxford before completing a PGCE at the Institute of Education in London and an MSt in Advanced History Teaching at the University of Cambridge.

He founded and co-edited Labour Teachers from 2011 to 2014. He also writes regularly on education policy and politics, publishing articles in a range of publications including the TES, Telegraph and Independent.
