Simon Taylor is Canon Chancellor at Derby Cathedral and Continuing Ministerial Development Officer for the Diocese of Derby. He grew up in the North East, was ordained in the South West and finds the Midlands a good compromise. Simon has taught theology in a whole range of places, from lecture halls to beer tents. His new book How to Read the Bible (without switching off your Brain) is published in September by SPCK. Simon is happiest with a book in his hand, or mucking about with his children.
