Alvin currently campaigns for policy changes to address poverty. He is working on a project to deliver first job opportunities for people in poverty who have never had a job. He is also a board member of the UpRising Leadership Programme which seeks to shake-up leadership in our democracy, and led on political campaigns for the National Executive of the Young Fabians. Alvin recently returned from a Winston Churchill Travel Fellowship looking at community leadership and social exclusion across the US, and previously led the Citizens’ Inquiry into the Tottenham Riots. He was recently made a World Economic Forum Global Shaper. |
