John has 15 years experience in issues communications for the public, private and third sectors. Having started his career with War on Want, John moved to ActionAid and was part of the Make Poverty History media team. John moved into corporate comms on the agency side, working with government departments, notably the Training and Development Agency for Schools Teacher recruitment campaign and the high profile Make Mine Milk integrated campaign. In 2012 John joined change.org to help launch the UK site - and helped the company grow to over 3 million users in its first year. Now, John leads comms teams across ten countries, helping the site grow to 100 million users with people powered victories every hour. He has written for The Observer, The Huffington Post, PR Week and Third sector. John Lives in London with his wife Caroline, two young children and spends his spare time despairing about Tottenham Hotspur football club. |
