![]() | Colin joined the School of Engineering at the University of Glasgow as James Watt Chair, Professor of Engineering Science in October 2014. His previous posts were Director, Advanced Space Concept Laboratory and Director, Scottish Centre of Excellence in Satellite Applications at the University of Strathclyde, where he retains a Visiting Research Professorship. His recent work has explored space technology at extremes of length-scale through the VISIONSPACE project, funded by an Advanced Investigator Grant from the European Research Council. Colin is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Edinburgh and the Royal Academy of Engineering and was made MBE in June 2014 for services to Space Research, Science and Technology. |
