Aditi Khanna

A career journalist with over 18 years’ experience in the field. Being a foreign correspondent based in London for most of those years has brought a unique vantage point on developments in India from a global perspective.

Aditi currently also fulfils the role of President of the UK-based Indian Journalists’ Association (IJA), a membership-led association which pre-dates Indian Independence in 1947 as a representative body for journalists covering the India story.

Politics is at the heart of most her work and writings but as the Europe Correspondent for India’s premier news wire service, the subject remit for news coverage is quite wide-ranging.

She is winner of the London Mayor’s Reporting Asylum Press Award for ‘Best Coverage in Asian or Minority Ethnic Press’.

Why are we afraid to judge?

"Five debates a day sounds a bit daunting beforehand, but I really loved it. The speakers are so knowledgeable and passionate about their chosen topic, and the amount of time dedicated to questions from the audience was great as it really brought in alternative views."
