Stuart Allan

Stuart Allan is Professor and Head of the School of Journalism, Media and Cultural Studies at Cardiff University, UK. He is the author of several books, including Online News: Journalism and the Internet (2006), Digital War Reporting (co-authored with Donald Matheson, 2009), and Citizen Witnessing: Revisioning Journalism in Times of Crisis (2013). He is currently researching the uses of citizen imagery in the news reporting of war, conflict and crisis events.
