Dr Ben Stanley

Ben is a lecturer at the Department of Humanities and Social Sciences at SWPS University in Warsaw, Marie Curie Intra-European Research Fellow at the School of Law, Politics and Sociology, University of Sussex, and a lecturer at the Institute of Political Science, Cardinal Stefan Wyszyński University in Warsaw (currently on leave). His research focuses on Polish politics, the Polish party system and the concept of populism. He received his PhD in 2010 from the University of Essex for a dissertation ‘Populism in the Polish party system: party appeals and voter mobilisation’.
