Maja Kecman

Maja is an industrial designer working primarily in healthcare. Her portfolio of work includes the design of surgical instruments for J&J, adjustable glasses for the developing world and home diagnostic kits. She currently leads a design team at HELIX inside St Mary’s Hospital in London under the leadership of Lord Ara Darzi. Their remit is to identify real healthcare problems to solve through design, create commercially sustainable solutions and implement them within the broader healthcare setting. Maja trained in manufacturing engineering and industrial design at Cambridge University and the Royal College of Art.
