Born in Lisbon in 1972, Diogo Seixas Lopes received his diploma in Architecture from FAUTL, Lisbon and his Doctorate from ETH Zurich. He is Guest Professor at DARQ.FCTUC Coimbra and Carleton University in Ottaw and the the Chief Curator of the Lisbon Architecture Triennale 2016. Diogo works as an architect in Lisbon, in partnership with Patrícia Barbas. Together, they run the office Barbas Lopes Arquitectos. With Gonçalo Byrne, they concluded the Reconversion of the Thalia Theater. Currently, they are refurbishing a 19th century palace and developing a 17-story office tower, both in Lisbon.
