He completed his traineeship at the law firm Althin, the prosecutor general’s criminal division and the Civil Rights Defenders (former Swedish Helsinki Committee for Human Rights). He has been president of the National Students Union and worked as a research assistant at the Department of Education. Ignacio was the legal representative of 90-year-old Ganna Chyzhevska, the subject of a high-profile deportation case. The deportation was canceled by the European Court of Human Rights and in June 2012, Chyzhevska was granted residence in Sweden. |
