Prior to his appointment as Chief Business Development Officer, Chris served as the Transport Systems Catapult’s Head of Innovation. He joined the Catapult from the University of Oxford subsidiary Isis Innovation, where he led the development and delivery of a variety of innovation projects with industry, universities and governments in more than 30 countries. Chris’ extensive career in technology marketing and corporate management includes senior positions with Helix Technology Corporation, Kulicke & Soffa Industries and KLA-Tencor Corporation, as well as a broad consultancy background with Edgeworth, Inc. His extensive global business experience, particularly in Asia, Latin America, the U.S. and the Middle East, adds to the rich knowledge base within the Catapult. Chris has also served on a number of industry and corporate boards, and lectured extensively on innovation and intellectual property. He holds a BA from the University of the Pacific in California and a Doctor of Jurisprudence from Willamette University in Oregon.
