Steven Erlanger

Steven Erlanger, London bureau chief of The New York Times, has lived in 10 countries and reported from more than 120, some of which no longer exist. He shared a 2001 Pulitzer Prize for work on Al Qaeda and was made a chevalier of the Legion d’Honneur by France for his long career in journalism. He was graduated from Harvard College and studied Russian at St Antony’s College, Oxford.
