Dr Eliza Filby is a visiting lecturer at King’s College London and author of God and Mrs Thatcher: The Battle for Britain’s Soul. The book explores the influence of Methodism on Margaret Thatcher and the interrelationship between religion and politics in Britain since the 1980s.

Eliza regularly appears in the media commenting on various aspects of religion and politics and has written for The Times, the Guardian, Standpoint, the Telegraph, Spectator and has reviewed for the Tablet. She is currently working on her second book, Generation WTF, a history of Millennials in Britain.
