Jacob Furedi

Jacob Furedi currently works on the news desk at the Independent. He is also a regular commentator for The Telegraph, The Huffington Post and spiked. He has written extensively on issues relating to free speech on both university campuses and in the public sphere.

Jacob also writes about the evolution of anti-Semitism and its relation to Zionism, taking particular interest in its appearance in universities. He is reading history at University College London, where he specialises in the intellectual history of the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries.
