Dr Simona Storchi
lecturer in Italian; deputy head of the School of Arts, University of Leicester
Simona Storchi holds a PhD from University College London. She is currently a lecturer in Italian and the Deputy Head of the School of Arts at the University of Leicester. Her research interests include Italian and European Modernism and Avant-Garde, early 20th century art, literature, architecture and design, Italian culture under Fascism and fascist architectural heritage in contemporary Italy. Among her recent publications, Back to the Futurists. The Avant-Garde and its Legacy (ed. with Elza Adamowicz) (Manchester: MUP, 2013); Beyond the Piazza. Public and Private Spaces in Modern Italian Culture (ed.)
