Derek Holloway

A former teacher and head of religious education, Derek has taught in comprehensive schools in Essex and in Wiltshire. He has worked for the Diocese of Salisbury as an RE adviser and for Dorset and Wiltshire local authorities as adviser to SACRE. He is an experienced Section 48 Inspector. In January 2016 he took up his present post at the Education office of the Church of England, where he leads on religious education, collective worship and church school inspection.
