Firdevs Robinson is a London based journalist and blogger. A former BBC World Service editor, she has been covering international affairs for three decades, focusing on Turkey, Cyprus, the Middle East, Central Asia, the Caucasus and Europe.

Her specific areas of interest are the domestic and foreign policies of Turkey and its place in the world.  An active campaigner on freedom of the press, she also regularly writes about the media.
